Hi again. I wanted to share a few thoughts about myself, and try to articulate what binds the (some might say) circuitous path I’ve taken with my design career.

Thus far, my career spans marketing, tech, lifestyle, and hospitality. What’s guided me throughout is the desire to create something meaningful, to tell compelling stories, and to continue evolving as a creative individual.

Speaking of which, I see design (and maybe all creative work) as an opportunity to tell stories. And I’m a sucker for a good story. I really believe thoughtful storytelling allows us to connect with audiences in ways that feel resonant, human, and grounded in purpose.

Lately I’ve been manifesting the next chapter of my career which feels a bit undefined, but hopefully in a good way. I’m also encouraging myself to spend more time working on my art, namely collage and painting.

As for what’s next, I’m always open to creative partnerships and exploring new-to-me creative spaces. I’d like to work on something of significance, specifically with people who like working with people.

tl;dr

I want to tell create work that moves people through compelling stories and great design, and I hope to do that with good people.

things of note

I'm from San Diego, so if the weather is under 65° or over 75°, I’m uncomfortable. This will be a life-long burden.

I played all four years on the D1 Women’s Water Polo team at UC Davis. We won our conference and finished 4th in the NCAA Championship tournament my Senior year. 💪 Fun fact: I played water polo for 11 years starting at the age of 11.

I like to learn how to do new things, but I do not enjoy being bad at new things.

I really like lists.
